HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

The motto of the school is achieving excellence together while making a difference. Keeping in mind this objective St. Thomas Proposed ICSE School commenced in the year 2018, to ensure that better opportunities were being created for the students of Vasai and to broaden their horizons and discover new ways to compete with the ever changing world. The School will also provide the opportunity to go from “Local to Global”. St. Thomas ICSE School was the brain child of Rev.Fr. John Fargose, which was first discussed in the school committee meeting. Later a meeting was sought with His Grace Arch Bishop Felix Machado for the same. The new concept of education was explained and Arch Bishop wholeheartedly supported the project. The thought behind this school was that this school could serve as a Diocesan school where many parishes of Vasai for e.g. Sandor, Remedies, Merces, Bhuigaon, Gass shall and can be involved in various activities of the school. It being a diocesan school more emphasis will be given to ICSE Syllabus as well as character formation.

Today we’re very happy and pleased to witness this journey and see the growth of the school which was initiated and blessed by Arch Bishop Felix Machado. Building trust is a key factor for the overall development of the school. Today St. Thomas ICSE School has earned the trust, support and encouragement from the parents.
